🛠️ What I Built

  • Augmented Reality Functionality: Implemented AR functionality based on image markers using Vuforia.

  • Screenshot and Recording Modes: Introduced screenshot and recording modes, allowing users to capture exciting moments featuring AR characters and elements. These media files can be conveniently saved in a dedicated folder on the device and shared effortlessly via social media from the app.

  • Mini-Games: Developed mini-games within selected AR scenes.

  • Photo and Video Player: Incorporated a photo and video player, enabling users to review and enjoy their latest captured media content.

  • UI Implementation: Integrated the UI visual assets according to the design’s requirements and added the pertinent functionality.

Ensuring stable AR tracking with image markers proved challenging due to varying environmental conditions and lighting.

✔ Solution: Optimized AR tracking logic to adjust dynamically to lighting changes and implemented fallback mechanisms for improved stability.

⚙️ Challenge: Media File Management

Managing large volumes of user-generated media files, including photos and videos, became a bottleneck in terms of storage and accessibility.

✔ Solution: Created an efficient file storage system that allowed users to easily access, manage, and share their captured media without performance issues.
